For the past decade Henry Misner has been composing a unique blend of melodic electronic and rock music. A native of the San Francisco music scene, his songs are filled with lush arrangements of electric and acoustic guitars, synthesizers, string sections, vocals and meticulously programmed drum beats. Playing all the instruments himself recorded in his home studio, he has crafted a sound ranging from electronic acts like Ratatat, Boards of Canada and Amon Tobin, to rock influences like Beck, Radiohead, and the Flaming Lips, with nods to ambient pioneers such as Brian Eno.

Drifting through krautrock, psychedelic pop, riff-rock, and many forms of electronica, his prolific catalog also includes vocal harmonies hinting at his admiration for household names like the Beach Boys and the Beatles. Known for tight instrumentation and intricate arrangements in his own compositions, Henry has also collaborated with music production and sound design collective CMoore Sound and played a variety of instruments in the San Francisco psych-rock outfit Magic Leaves and his own brother's critically acclaimed Americana band Misner & Smith. Realizing his love for the studio outweighed lugging instruments around to live gigs, he now focuses primarily on writing and recording music for online ads, theatre and other media.
